Dear Poetry Spacers,
Thank you so much to everyone who has sent cards, note and e-mails this month. It is wonderful to know that I am being thought about with regard to looking after my father. It has and continues to be heartbreaking watching his deterioration. However I can tell you that he is warm and cosy in his new home and I am spending lots of very special times with him, listening to music and reading him poems
Thank you too for your Christmas wishes and your sincere appreciation of Poetry Space. It is good to know that all the activities are inspiring lots of new writing and that the website itself is proving to be a valuable resource.
All poets with a poem in the top 20 in the 2014 competition will receive their anthologies in the next couple of days and Winter Showcase will go out to friends of poetry space just before the year ends hopefully.
The challenge will take a break after the results are posted later this week.
If you have Christmas poems please send in for a special Christmas feature over the holiday period. The Christmas poetry blog is a tradition on Poetry Space and a great way for us all to reach out and connect with each other whatever our circumstances.
