Lapidus weekend conference

A successful Lapidus weekend conference (5th/6th October) in the beautiful surroundings of Clifton, Bristol was enjoyed by around forty people from all over the UK, getting together to enjoy short talks such varied subjects as Hip Hop Therapy, the therapeutic potential of humour in writing, poetry therapy, autobiography in healthcare research and the intriguingly titled “choreoscribing the pulse”. We also enjoyed an hour of laughter with poet Matt Harvey and the event culminated in an interactive workshop with Ted Bowman from the US showing us how to “pack our bags with words” for the journey through grief.
