The line up for Bristol Poetry Festival from 30th September to 11th October looks impressive this year. Amongst the performers are Rachael Boast winner of the Forward Prize for Best First Collection in 2011, Louis de Bernieres, the best-selling author of the much loved Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, Sir Andrew Motion, Prunella Scales (better known as Sybil from Fawlty Towers), Lucy English, David Briggs.
Several Poetry Spacers feature, Philip Lyons our judge from Poetry space Competition 2010 has a poem in the book The Echoing Gallery – Bristol Poets and Art in the City. Edited by Rachael Boast, Patrick Burley and Adam Hanna the collection also includes David Clarke who took secon place this year in our 2013 competition. David C Johnson and Deborah Harvey are also performing with their group The Isambards.
