I spent the day today with Beverley Ferguson finalising her forthcoming collection Flowers in the Blood.Over soup and homemade cheese slices we considered the importance of creativity in our lives and in particular the power of the written word. Beverley is rightly proud of the fact that her pamphlet Breaking Through, published last year with Poetry Space has not only raised money for Bath Mind but reached and created new readers of poetry.
Beverley who lives in Bath was the winner of the very first Poetry Space Competition in 2010. As well as being an accomplished poet, Beverley is also a talented artist.
