Writing Retreat in the Sahara Desert
Café Tissardmine, Morocco
Friday 8th – Sunday 17th February 2013
Workshop Leader: Monica Suswin
See your own world in a grain of sand
Take home your notebooks and journals full of writing gifts and treasures
Here is information about a writing retreat for those who would like to experience:
* starry skies
* bright sunny days
* a camel ride into the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi (4WD if preferred)
&
* slow down
* have time for reflection
* be with other like-minded people
Whatever your style of writing, or your experience, the focus will be on personal exploration:
this may take an existing project forward, or give you the impetus for new writing inspired by the rich imaginative experience
from a different landscape, particularly as we go deeper into the desert to the stunning sand dunes of Erg Chebbi.
* daily group sessions with lots of writing, sharing and meditative time
Cost for the Workshop:
13,700 dirhams (approx £1100)
