This has been children’s year at Poetry Space. Tomorrow marks the publication of our latest title, Once Bitten : a collection of poems by David R. Morgan.
David, who lives in Bedfordshire has been a regular contributor and supporter of Poetry Space since 2011 and this is his second title with us. Beneath the Dreaming Tree was published almost exactly a year ago. Though aimed at 8 to 12 year olds, like all good children’s books it will appeal to adults as well.
The book is illustrated with black and white drawings throughout by John Welding and Toby Morgan, David’s son.We shall be launching Once Bitten at The Poetry Cafe in London on Saturday December 1st at the Poetry Cafe in Covent Garden. David will be reading poems from the collection and signing books from 2.30 till 4pm.Do come along and join in the fun. Families especially welcome at this free event.
