Martyn Crucefix has agreed to judge Poetry Space Competition 2013. Well known for his translation of Rainer Maria Rilke’s Duino Elegies in 2006, Martyn’s awards include an Eric Gregory award in 1984 and a Hawthornden Fellowship in 1991.
The 2013 competition will be the fourth for Poetry Space and the profits will continue to help in bringing new and lesser known poets to recognition.
Prize money for 2013 will increase to £250 (1st prize), £100, (2nd prize), £50, (3rd prize). The competition will open for entries on November 1st 2012 and close at midnight on June 30th 2013.
